The housing market in the Barrie area has boomed in the past two years. The ability to work from home has allowed people to move away from Toronto and head north, to Barrie, where you can get more for your dollar. Although restrictions are lifting, we are not seeing a slow down in people migrating north and the housing prices are reflecting this. 

Detached homes were up 32.9% 

Semi-Detached homes were up 35.4% 

Townhouses were up 34.5% 

Condos were up 23.5% 

& these numbers are rising monthly in 2022.
